Tamika Lamison, is the founder and executive director of the L.A.-based Make A Film Foundation, which helps children with serious or life-threatening medical conditions live out their filmmaking dreams. She is here at World Arts with the film The Magic Bracelet, a Diablo Cody-adapted short film originally penned by 15-year-old Rina Goldberg, who died of mitochondrial disease in 2010. As Festival Host and honored industry guest, Tamika will moderate the Screenwriters Panel on Friday, October 16th and presents her film, now part of the World Arts Film Collection, The Magic Bracelet on Sat. Oct 17th.
