Andre Dimapilis 

Andre Ignacio Dimapilis is a Filipino-American culture bearing artist. In other words, he makes performance art that uplifts and preserves Filipino cultural heritage.  Andre is a native of Jacksonville, FL, and a former Drama Teacher at Pine Forest Elementary and Lake Forest Elementary. He now resides in Brooklyn, NYC where he works as an educator, community-based artist, and a performing artist. He returns to Jax to work with the Festival's youth participants on Friday and Saturday. Dimapilis is an MA graduate in Applied Theatre at The City University of New York - School of Professional Studies.
